Sophie's 6th birthday party, on 22 January 2012, was a Penguin Party. Lebo, Koala, Neelu and Sirisha, Sadie, Orpha, Ihsaan and his little brother and sister, Aiden, Nathan and Dylan came to the party, most of them dressed as penguins. We managed a very quick swim before the traditional thunderstorm sent us all inside. Inside, they played Pin the Tail on the Penguin, Pass the Parcel and Story without Nouns (The Penguins of Parktown North), as well as quite a bit of Playmobil and other games. We had relighting candles on the cake, which Sophie and her friends found hilarious.
