Snow in Jo'burg

We woke late (8:30am) on 27 June 2007, and looked out to true winter! We got dressed as quickly as possible to play in it. The photos are taken at about 9am. Alexander had fun sliding on the iced over hose-pipe, and using two poles he found to balance, but we didn't think of trying to make a snowman or throw any. Sophie thought it was just too cold, and wanted to be carried. It didn't help that the children own no gloves, and I didn't think their coats would fit over their warmest jerseys. There was still snow on my car's windscreen at 1pm.
