Alexander, Sophie and Finnian ran the Pirates 2.5km race on 10 July 2011 with their cousin Laura. It was Finnian and Laura's first ever running race. Alexander was aiming to beat his 2010 time of 20 minutes. Alexander was 8, Sophie nearly 5 and a half, Laura 4 and Finnian 27 months. Alexander managed his personal best in a time of about 18 minutes, Sophie ran most of the race just ahead of Laura and Finni, but went ahead at the end. Laura, Helen and Jack (in the sling) were a bit ahead of Beccy and Finnian, who came in 3rd and 4th last in a time of 31 minutes.
