Alexander loves his grade 3 teacher, who taught his design and technology elective last year. She seems to know how to keep the class quiet so that Alexander can work effectively, and how to get him to get over the hump of starting work. Their term's theme is fire, which is a great theme for him. He is doing grade 4 Maths in his classroom with his teacher and it seems to be going very well.
He continues to enjoy singing in the St Martin's choir. He absolutely loved the RSCM Summer School in early January, and is keen to go to the next one in Kimberley in Jan 2013. He sang at the ordination service at the Cathedral on Saturday and behaved impeccably, despite the service being 2.5 hours long, on top of a rehearsal.
